Our goal at York Makers is to provide Artisans from across York Region, Ontario with opportunities to grow their businesses, showcase their products and gain exposure in the local economy. This goal is achieved by producing juried art markets, facilitating artist led DIY workshops and giving back to the community.

EYR Market @ The Unionville Festival

We are SUPER excited to announce that we have been invited to host a market within the Unionville Festival on June 3, 2017!

Over 50,000 people attended last year’s festival and with a jam packed schedule, the 2017 Festival promises to be a wonderful event! We have been given two indoor locations (The Stiver Mill and The Unionville Train Station) so that we are immune to the weather!

The application process for this market is VERY QUICK – Applications MUST be received by April 20th with successful applicants being notified by April 23rd. The amount of vendor space is extremely limited so get your applications in early!

    York Region Makers is so excited to have been invited to take part of the Discover Georgina Show and host a Pop Up Market to celebrate SPRING!

    The application process remains the same as all of our other events - this is a juried market, so all vendors must submit an application in order to be considered for this market. All shops, including handmade, vintage and supplies are welcome! All shops will be carefully selected by jury. A minimum of 20 shops will be selected, with additional spaces being offered if required.

    • The basic table fee for the York Region Makers Pop Up Market is $175 and includes:
    • TWO DAYS of Vendor Space
    • 6' Table & 2 Chairs
    • Continental Breakfast (Vendors only) on Saturday & Sunday
    • Friday Night setup from 11am - 7pm
    • Venue security from Friday night through to Sunday afternoon
    • Comprehensive marketing from BOTH York Makers AND Discover Georgina Show

    Table Linens are not included.

  • Event Details

    SET UP:
    Set-up time is between 11:00 am to 7:00pm on Friday, May 4th

    Shop Owners agree not to pack up prior to 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 6th. Failure to do so will result in immediate rejection from future York Region Maker Markets. This is non-negotiable.

    Your application must be received no later than March 25, 2018.
    Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than March 26, 2018.
    Payment is due upon acceptance. Payment can be made by Email Money Transfer or via PayPal (PayPal payments will incur an additional 2% admin fee). Details to Follow upon Acceptance.

    We will assume forfeiture of your spot, should payment not be received by the deadline. We reserve the right to fill any spots that are not paid in full by March 27, 2018. You will receive an email confirmation once your payment has been received. There will be no holding of spots after this date without full payment, as we are starting to promote our vendors already.

    We have a comprehensive plan for marketing and promotion that includes printed materials, social media and more!Our Marketing campaign is in ADDITION to the Marketing of the Discover Georgina Show
    We expect all vendors to distribute information to their family and friends, and post on social media to assist in making this event great! Failure to do so may result in your table being revoked and payment being refunded.

    There are 20 spots already accepted, each spot now is accepted on a first come first served basis.

    Due to the nature of this market, once you have been approved, there will be no refunds granted.
